Daisy by Kiltul Daisy by Kiltul
This is an Oxeye Daisy or Leucanthemum vulgare. Taken in our wetland plot. Enjoy the calmness of the daisies, and while you're at it, listen to this song [link] titled Daisy by Switchfoot, it's a great song, trust me.

Ok. Here comes Sofie and her critique.
:)
Ok, I like this picture. (You have yet to take a picture that I don't like.) Why do I like it, you ask??
So, here we go. The shading is magnificent. It is defined amazingly. :) The pure white of the daisy's petals makes this picture slightly metaphorical. Especially becase the background is so dark. It just shows that even in the darkest, most dreary parts of the world there is beauty that is often overlooked. The saying that keeps coming to my mind as I look at this piece is "Be your own kind of beautiful." It is an especially nice picture because the center clearly isn't perfect, but that can be ignored for the true beauty within the photo. The only piece of advice that i have is to maybe make the background like, 2% darker. Like, just a smidge.
Other than that, this picture is perfection. :+fav:

XD wow...that sounded kinda depressing. :D shall I tell you how amazingly lovely this is? it's magnificently awe-inspiring...and actually makes me want to pull out the colored pencils and attempt to capture the amazing color and style of this. wonderful job.

:D we'll see...once I sketch it out and am either:
A) dancing triumphantly around my room waving my pencils over my head ecstatically
or B) walking around with a ginormous thundercloud above my head, the broken bodies of my pencils littering the ground...
...I'm hoping for A.

there is no option B in this case, ONLY A

XD there is no second option
:D of course, a triumphant Dark is so much better than a melancholy one, isn't it?
